AUTHOR'S POV
A story of control, fear, and a love that refuses to stay gentle.
>> MALHOTRA MANSION <<
The Malhotra mansion did not merely wake before the dawn; it stirred with the quiet, imposing grandeur of an empire rising above the Mumbai skyline.
As the first golden rays of sunlight cut through the towering, arched glass windows, they washed over polished Italian marble floors and cast long, amber shadows across walls adorned with priceless, curated art.
The quiet rhythm of an elite household seamlessly took over. Soft, measured footsteps, silent echoed through the soaring, cavernous corridors as the mansion's staff moved like clockwork, ensuring that not a single piece of silk drape or crystal chandelier was out of place before the family descended.
It was a house built on absolute discipline, where even the morning light seemed to enter with permission.

In the kitchen, Anupama Malhotra ( Rajveer's mother) was already supervising the morning preparations. Her saree was immaculately draped, her movements calm yet commanding as she guided the staff with quiet authority.
(Anupama Malhotra - The Heart of the Mansion; A woman of immense grace. She possesses a rare, deeply compassionate soul and a heart big enough to shelter everyone around her. While she commands the mansion with effortless dignity, her true nature is incredibly soft and warm-hearted.)
"Make sure breakfast is served precisely on time," she instructed gently, inspecting the layout. "And keep the menu light today."
Her voice was never loud, but it didnβt need to be as everyone listened.
Across the mansion, the staff moved with practiced precision. Curtains were drawn back just enough to welcome the early dawn, floors gleamed under meticulous care, and fresh flowers replaced yesterdayβs arrangements without a single petal falling out of place.
Outside, the manicured lawns caught the first hints of daylight. Water flowed steadily over the trimmed hedges, every blade of grass seemingly controlled by design. At the heavy iron gates, the security detail stood rigid, eyes scanning the perimeter, while bodyguards took their positions silently.
Nothing here was random. Nothing was out of line. Everything moved on time; everything stayed in control.
As the rest of the family slowly began to stir, muted, warm conversations filled the air. Yet, beneath the domestic familiarity, an unspoken restraint lingered.
Even in a house full of people, the atmosphere felt deeply measured, as if the walls themselves remembered that this house belonged to a man of absolute discipline.
Even in his absence, the mansion remained exactly like him: controlled, unyielding, and silent.
>> AGARWAL HOUSE <<
The Agarwal home was a modest, charming two-story house tucked away in a quieter lane. It was small, but every corner carried the warmth of a lived-in space. Up the narrow staircase, tucked away on the upper floor, was Aadhira's room.
Sunlight slipped softly through the sheer curtains, settling across the room in warm, golden patches. Aadhiraβs bedroom was a beautiful contrast to the rigid world outside - soft, chaotic, and gently alive.
Shades of blush pink and crisp white blended effortlessly across the space. Her bed sat in the corner, dressed in pastel sheets with a few cushions scattered carelessly. Near the balcony doors, a small study table held uneven stacks of books, open pages marked with colorful sticky notes, and a notebook filled with rushed, handwritten thoughts.
The balcony beyond was simple but comforting: a railing wrapped in faint fairy lights, a single cozy chair. It wasnβt grand, but it was entirely hers.

BZZZZ!
The alarm rang. It was promptly ignored.
A few seconds later, it blared again, louder this time. A groan escaped from beneath the heavy duvet as Aadhira buried her face deeper into her pillow.
"Five more minutes..." she mumbled to herself.
The clock didn't care. Her eyes fluttered open, heavy with sleep. She turned lazily, reaching for her phone, and froze.
08:40 A.M.
"WHAT?!"
She swung her legs out of bed, her bare feet hitting the soft rug as she rushed toward the wardrobe. Moving with a hasty blend of urgency and grace, she darted into the bathroom.
The warm water washed away the last traces of lingering sleep, highlighting her flawless skin and delicate features. Stepping out into the bedroom, she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, a playful, mischievous smile touching her lips as she caught her reflection in the mirror.
After a quick glance at the ticking clock, she hurried to get ready. Choosing a beautifully patterned kurti paired with comfortable, flowing palazzos, she quickly smoothed down the fabric, grabbed her bag, and headed downstairs into the cozy hum of her home where the rich aroma of breakfast awaited.
From the hallway, the delicious aroma of breakfast drifted in. Her mother, Asha Agarwal (Aadhira's mother) was humming softly while flipping fresh parathas on the tawa. Sneaking up from behind, Aadhira wrapped her arms tightly around her mother's waist.
(Asha Agarwal - The Loving but Bound Mother. She is full of gentle affection, playful humor, and homemade warmth. However, she lives caged by the rigid rules of a traditional household and her husband's strict expectations.)
"Good morning, Mumma!" she whispered, her brown eyes sparkling.
Asha gasped, laughing softly before turning around with a strict expression, playfully raising the hot spatula. "Good morning, you sleepyhead! Careful, or this might bite!"
But Asha's smile faded the moment she glanced at the wall clock. "Aadhira... beta, itβs already nine! Youβre going to be late for college if you don't hurry!"
From the adjoining dining room, the sharp rustle of a newspaper was followed by a stern, low voice. Her father Sanjay Agarwal (Aadhira's father), looked up from his papers.
( Sanjay Agarwal - Sanjay is a man whose entire life has been consumed by the heavy burden of providing for his family, he bitterly dislikes the fact that he has a daughter .)
Panic hit Aadhira in a rush. She hastily grabbed a hot paratha, rolling it up in her hands while shoving a bite into her mouth. She snatched her bag and phone, but just as she darted toward the front door, her father's voice cut through the air.
"Aadhira! Stop right there."
She froze mid-step, the paratha still in her hand.
"Is this how you leave the house every day?" Sanjay asked, his tone firm and laced with irritation. "Rushing around, skipping classes, no sense of time."
Her cheeks flushed with a mix of guilt and haste. "Sorry, Papa... I'll wake up early tomorrow."
Seeing her daughter's subdued face, Asha stepped in, spatula still in hand. "Enough, let it be for now," she said gently to her husband. "She's already late."
Sanjay glared at Asha, she put her head down and move to Aadhira.
Aadhira finished her last bite, called out a rushed, "Bye, Mumma!" and sprinted out the door.
Outside, the city morning was buzzing. Aadhira slipped on her helmet, her silver jhumkas catching the sunlight as she started her scooter. A few strands of hair escaped the helmet immediately, dancing freely in the breeze. She didn't bother fixing them. Weaving effortlessly through the busy streets, a bright smile spread across her face.
This was her world. Messy, unpredictable, and bright, and she loved every bit of it.
>> COLLEGE <<
The college gates loomed ahead just as Aadhira pulled in, her breath uneven.
"Please don't be late... please don't be late," she muttered, parking her scooter a little messily. Helmet off, bag grabbed, she ran.
Near the classroom corridor, Kiara Ahuja (Aadhira's best friend) stood leaning casually against the wall, watching the morning rush with mild amusement. When she spotted Aadhira, hair flying, bag slipping off her shoulder, a smirk played on her lips.
(Kiara is a whirlwind of bright, unfiltered energy and a complete breath of fresh air. Bubbly, fiercely loyal, and aggressively talkative, she has an endless supply of dramatic stories, free memes, and opinions that she never hesitates to share. She lives in a state of beautiful, chaotic enthusiasm.)
"Right on schedule," Kiara murmured.
Aadhira skidded to a halt beside her, gasping for air. "I made it... I actually made it."
Kiara raised an eyebrow. "Barely."
"Don't start," Aadhira rolled her eyes, trying to tame her wild hair.
"I'm not starting," Kiara smiled innocently. "I'm just observing."
With a shared laugh, the two friends slipped into their usual rhythm and walked into the classroom together, the chaos of the morning melting into the safe, familiar routine of college life.
>> THE PRIVATE RUNWAY <<
On the asphalt, everything was frozen in absolute readiness, coiled tight under the heavy weight of anticipation.Mumbai was awaiting the man who owned its skyline.
Bodyguards stood positioned along the private tarmac like stone sentinels, evenly spaced, alert, and terrifyingly unmoving. Earpieces hummed with quiet static, eyes scanned the horizon, and every single breath was measured.
No one spoke. No one dared to. The entire city's financial heartbeat seemed to hold its breath for this exact moment.
Then, the distant hum in the sky grew into an undeniable, bone-rattling roar.
A sleek, matte-black helicopter cut through the heavy morning clouds of Mumbai, its blades slicing the humid air in powerful, thundering rotations.
The sheer, violent force of the descent sent dust and loose gravel spiraling outward like a storm, but the guards stood like statues, adjusting their stances to perfection. The storm was back, and the city was about to know it.
The helicopter touched down- perfectly.
The sharp rhythm of the blades slowed into a low, rumbling vibration. A guard stepped forward instantly, opening the door. For a brief second, there was a heavy silence.
Then, he stepped out - Rajveer Malhotra
The air shifted. Postures straightened, heads lowered, and the silence deepened.
He didn't acknowledge any of it.
Dressed in a flawlessly tailored black suit, with dark sunglasses shielding his eyes, he carried an aura of absolute, effortless authority. The wind brushed through his dark hair, but his cold expression never wavered.
He descended the stairs without pause. Behind him, Aditya followed closely with a stack of files, perfectly matching his employer's swift pace.
(Aditya - Rajveer's Personal Assistant)
As they walked toward the waiting convoy, Aditya spoke in a low, precise tone. "Sir, the board meeting has been rescheduled to eleven. The Singapore deal is awaiting your final approval. And thereβs a request from.. "
Rajveer didn't look back. "Decline it."
"Yes, sir," Aditya replied instantly, lowering his gaze. No further questions. No unnecessary words.
A black Range Rover waited at the edge of the runway, its engine running silently. The polished body reflected the sharp morning light, and the pitch-black tinted windows concealed everything within, imposing and unreadable, much like the man who owned it.
The door was held open and waiting.
Nothing in Rajveer Malhotraβs world happened by accident. Not the silence, not the immaculate control, and definitely not what was about to enter it.
After months away from the country, Rajveer Malhotra had returned.
There were no announcements, no grand celebrations. Just as he preferred - silent, controlled, and absolute.
But a man like him could never truly go unnoticed.
